My 6th grade students kicked off Earth Week by creating gourd birdhouses. They started Monday by priming the gourds, then Tuesday they painted the gourds (all in their own creative fashion) We were all so glad to be able to spend the first two days of Earth Week outside.
ReplyDeleteToday we celebrated Earth Week by learning more about Earthquakes. Mr. Steve Jones came to present Earthquakes 101 to all the 6th graders. He was very interesting and we look forward to working with Mr. Jones to build Seismograph at our school!
